I've never been enamoured of this Liszt piece, but I did enjoy your playing of it. Your playing is expressive without crossing over into sentimentality and schmaltz, as is so easily done with this music.

Nice performance, thanks for posting!

Hi donjuan,

Seems like you haven't posted a piece here for many months.  Welcome back!

I enjoying hearing your Liebestraume No. 3.  I've played Nos. 1 and 2 (also very beautiful works), but not No. 3, so cannot critique it in depth.  I do, however, believe that you have the piece firmly in hand.  Your rendition is thoughtful, well articulated, and lyrically expressive.  I also agree with ronde that you retained objectivity such that the piece did not become syrupy.  Good job!
