Title: Help me find year and model of my piano
Post by: seskanda on May 12, 2009, 01:45:47 AM
I have a Schafer & Sons "spinet-type" acoustic, upright piano, it's mahogany wood, if you need pictures, i'll be glad to provide them. I want to sell it for a digital piano w/sequencer, workstation, or something like that.

Thanks in advance.

Is there any serial numbers on it anywhere? That is the only sure way I know how to date it.

Unfortunately, i can NOT find a s/n, yet. I flipped open the top lid, and looked in there, but found nothing. Also, tried inside the front soundboard, but NO luck either. Where else could it be?

Ok, got it, it was on the back of the piano, along with the model, but it did NOT say the year it was made. I will send you a PM with the s/n, model #, and other information. Hopefully, we can date it, and i can be off with it.
