What teaching advice you received that truly revolutionized your playing?
For me it was lesson at a university piano lesson where I was playing a Liszt ' Consolation number 3 and he taught me the importance of using the the arm to create a truly soft subtle tone. It is a piece of advice that I have used to about every piece I have played afterwards. The other importance lesson I had was about using staccato in piece such as Fantasy Improptu to strenghen to the finger tips.
