Both copyrighted old chap and the Furtwangler amazingly is still in print and published by Ries & Erler.

I would expect it is in hundreds of libraries so you might be able to get it on loan. If you are rich and mental, you could buy it from the publishers for a very cheap 168 Euros. I decided that the music is horrific restrained Germanic Romanticism and I would not spend 168 Cents on it.
