overall, I'd have to say you did an excellent job.  I didn't hear any major mistakes, and only one or two very minor note errors, which is quite impressive given the difficult nature of this work.

however, it felt a little bit lacking in emotional content.  while you clearly have the technical ability to play this piece, you make it sound a little bit too easy.  to me, this piece has a lot of tension, beginning with the opening chord, far away from the home key, and continuing throughout the entire sonata--even when we are firmly in the home key, we are made to feel not at ease.  yet your playing is so smooth and even that I don't feel the fire and tempestuousness as strongly as I would like.  I think you have the capability to do this, as evidenced by your playing beginning at measure 159, which sent shivers down my spine.  I'd love to see you carry that level of emotional content throughout the movement.

most of all, I'd like to hear you play the other two movements!  keep up the good work!

Thank you. I know there are differences in how more "experienced" performers would play the pieces I play, but I am really not that interested in learning all I can on how to play them. I like to play them as I see them. More rewarding for me this way. I play for fun, desire, emotional release or whatever. This is another reason I only play certain movements, the one I like best. Next one up is the rd movement to the waldstein. Having fun learning it. thanks again.
