That depends. Do you really love MUSIC and piano or are they only a lobby to you? If you do want to play piano well, with grade 5, I suggest scales, harps, perhaps some Czerny (I dont like Czerny exercises but there a lot of guys who like them), then Bach 2 voices Inventions. All this with a great care about tone. If music and piano are only a lobby to you, I have no suggestions :)
Best wishes

Hello
I've restarted playing piano again two years ago. I passed grade 5 exam at high school but I didn't practise much after that. Then I got very fond of chopin's music and started pratising again. I usually practise fingering by playing Hanon's and Czerny's. They may sound boring but they really help me playing my favorites better. I usually spend about 40 mins to an hour to practise fingering everyday. It's not just about playing notes fast but also playing each note right. I started this practice about 5 months ago and my bro now thinks I play well. I'm not saying I'm a good piano player but those practices really made me enjoy music more.
Listening to music by your favorite pianists can also help you.

hello,
I took private piano lessons for 2 years  when i was 10- now im 26 and I bought a piano 2 months ago. I also found it hard at first and very frustrating...I've never been great at it, mostly because when I was young I couldn't be bothered practising, which I now regret very much and I didn't go to a  music school or anything like that. My taste in music has obviously developed since I was 12 and I just had to face that I won't be able to play Chopin for a good good while yet (it really hurts, cos I'm Polish:). But at the end of the day I can read music and I want to learn. And I am getting better every week.
I found classical pieces that I really liked but were very easy and gradually started picking more complicated ones.
Good luck!

Don't expect your piano skills to rebound immediately.  Work slowly at recovering and reviewing material you have covered in the past.  I'm not promising it will be easy and it may feel like you are starting from scratch again, but it will be beneficial to you.

Go over things like scales and chords, so when you come across them in the music you can recognize them.

There are different grading systems in use.  What system were you using for your grade 5 level?

I would recommend to start with earliest piece that you'd learned. Try to play it and if necessary, simply relearn it all over. After you feel more confident, move to the next, the second earliest piece you've learned. And then simply repeat the process until you remembered how to play everything that you used to.
