Title: Mozart Variations

I'm gradually discovering that there are about ten thousands sets of variations that I never knew existed! Many of them are less often played and more interesting than many of his sonatas, IMHO. What do you think? Does anyone have any favorites? I think I might like to choose one to work on after my exam is over...

I totally agree, some of Mozart's piano variations are really beautiful!

I like K.500 and K.573.
And you?

But I can't listen to them too much - then they get boring...

Take  a look at the Variations of Haydn, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, and Mendelssohn.
