Good Day,
I want to buy a piano but wanna know a few things
1- Anyone heart of P.A Starck - what's their reputation like?
2- Serial Number 88860 - about how old is it? Any idea how much it may weigh??
3- I know NOTHING about pianos (wanna get one and start playing). So can anyone tell the condition of the piano through the following pictures?

Crap... so the piano's probably extremely old.... it looks much much newer... how much would you say it's worth? Also I read somewhere that uprights are good for 80 years.... so this one's probably past it's due date oO?

All depends on the size. Small uprights go between 300 and 400 pounds and large ones could go 500 to 800. By the pics it looked taken care of but I would have a tech look at it. Looks can be deceiving.
Like buying a house. Have it inspected by a pro to evaluate what it needs.

A 52” upright would be around 650-700lbs. A 54” upright would be a little more, 750-800lbs. 1925 was the year of build for this one. With the purchase of any instrument do what Jim advises; have a local technician inspect this for present mechanical condition and then local market value.
