Many years ago, when D.S Lloyd Webber was the principal, I gained the ALCM diploma in pianoforte playing. I am curious to know what happened to the London College of Music and of course whether or not my qualification is of any value today. e.g. Has the London College of Music been incorporated into some other similar academic institution? Can the ALCM be used as a step-up to a higher qualification such as a Teaching Diploma? etc.

The London College of Music is still very much in business, see here https://www.tvu.ac.uk/music/London_College_of_Music.jsp
Your qualification is still valid!
