Title: who was the fisrt to compose this?

Dear All,

I'm tring to figure out from which classical composer Ludovico Einaudi borrowed the intro of this tune



It's a sort of Alberti bass and is similar to

Philp Glass - Mad Rush
Bach - Cello Suite No.1
Mozart Piano Sonata in C, K. 545
Chopin Nocturne no. 8 op. 27 no. 2

but I think there is something much closer

Any input would be much apreciated

It's similar to anything and to nothing.  Haven't heard such banal insignificant crap in a long time.  In fact, not since "the piano" soundtrack.  Who is this Einaudi guy anyway?!

I suppose I should be embarassed by not knowing this guy.  He has a mile long write up in the wikipedia.  Can't help but wondering if his success, the beginnings of it, at least, have to do with being the grandson of the first president of the italian repubblic.  He's a mixture of new age, minimalism, and modern day inanity.

He has a very good and willing to invest manager/partner

Actually Einaudi is a sort of Philip Glass wannabe...I'd really like to find the work he has copied

...and in the whole forum the title Melodia Africana appears twice but unfortunately there is no reference to anything that was in some way borrowed by Einaudi for the composition
