For my sins I specialise in contemporary re-workings of some of the more notable masterpieces from our cultural heritage - the criticism that I most often receive is usually centered round the idea that 'bastardizations' of this type dilute and corrupt the composer original message. Granted - perhaps they do, but I am of the opinion that the original still remains intact for all those that choose - but with contemporary covers the piece gains exposure to a modern audience who otherwise might not have been exposed or even interested in the original. Any opinions? I have provided a couple of links to some of my own postmodern interpretations:

Enjoy or otherwise ;)

hello!!! ;D
I will be surprised if you had not been called sacrilegious and blasphemous, in the way you have handled these classical piano pieces, BUT I love it .... it is fresh and refreshing.... especially the gymnopedie, lounge and Mo-Fo remix!!!!! ;D ;D
I am not a pianist though but have always been part of the adoring audience in classical piano performances and my son has peppered our home hours daily the last several years with classical piano pieces. He has played gymnopedie and loves the pop music slant of your renditions. ;D Thanks!!! ( I hope I am not labeled blasphemous too!)
edit: the Clair de Lune - Mo-Fo Mix - Remixdj, blew me away especially the keyboard solo starting at 4:10 !!!! NOW I AM BECOMING SACRILEGIOUS!!
