One of my piano teachers said that Petrouchka wasn't hard.

Perhaps for him it isn't. Hard is a relative term.

Well I bought the music and showed him and asked if I could play it for college auditions.

He didn't know that there was a solo piano transcription.  So he read it and laughed at me lol

I've had a vocal teacher argue with me about the presence of 7th chords in classical music. I honestly don't know what planet she was on. And she was a classical singer too. I don't get it. Was she asleep during her theory classes?
