Title: Strange fingering in scriabins prelude no8 op 11
Post by: dagsljus on September 18, 2012, 11:13:28 AM
In the edition of  scriabins prelude no8 op 11 that i have, there is something that i do not understand. The fingering indications is above and under the same note but with different finger suggestions (see attached image).

What does it mean ?

Either you play the fingering indicated above the notes or you play the fingering below the notes. It's up to you what you find the most comfortable. Simple as that  :)
