Do you have "off" days where you just can't play the piano?
For me, they tend to happen when I'm away from the piano for a couple of days.
-
I make sure to schedule off days where I am occupied by things other than piano, or practicing on an instrument. For me they tend to be beneficial, as compared to a daily practice routine.

I assume that you mean, off days, where playing just isn't turning out very well. I'm in a stretch right now ! Though I will say one piece went well this evening. This week I have just played lousy over all.

No, I don't. 8)
My piano, on the other hand, has days when it has all sorts of bad habits and just won't do what it's told. >:(

I don't have off days.
Wanna know why?
Because every day is an off day for me!

But then that would mean..
Well, do you have off days relative to your already off days?

No.
So therefore I only have good days.

Instead of off days I have off hours... At times I feel like I am retarded or something. Then after a few hours I can find the middle C again :)

Oh, I have found that exactly one glass of red wine cures that problem !! Too many glasses though and the entire keyboard becomes middle C. Hold it at one lightly filled glass only. And for me white wine doesn't do it's job.
Don't have caffeine before practice, your mind will go faster than your hands can cope with, or mine will anyway..
Some days are just a lost cause, just close the lid on the piano on those days and come play with us here at PS instead ! Or read a book but just don't play piano, it causes too much stress on those days.
