I have a Mason Hamlin BB. Gloss Ebony Finish. Piano sat in dealers show room for 3-4 years before I purchased it. It was regulated to perfection has the humidifier unit on it everything. It is essentially in pristine condition. In fact I would put it up against any piano Steinway, Bosendorfer, just about anything….it is a great piano. Built year would have been 2001. I paid in the 40's for it. MSRP then was 65K. Was wondering what it might be worth today if anyone might have a good idea.

That's a difficult question to answer sight unseen, but since the rebuild has been over 10 years, I've seen them depreciate roughly 20% depending on current condition. It also depends on who rebuilt it and the extent of the rebuild. Total current restorations are still ballpark of what you paid. The following link is a restoration shop that does extremely fine work and will fetch top dollar. Its also in the NY, NJ, Conn. tri-state area and that usually fetches a little more also. Then of course there is Faust Harrison, a premiere MH dealer/restorer, who are extremely expensive. If you sell on consignment at a dealer, be prepared to only net roughly 25K, or it could take a long time to sell if you do it on your own, maybe netting a little more. Keep in mind, these are really rough estimates.
