i am
having a bit of a problem learning liszt transcedental etude 2 and was
hoping you could help me with a question. my problem is that the meter
of the music is set to 3/4, however; musically the piece feels like if
it was 2/4, i dont find it difficult technically but until i dont have
this clear i cant move forward, should i always play the music
according to what is written, or in certain cases such as liszt should
i play it acording to how i think it should sound?, if i play it how i
think it should sound it doesnt match the metronome, if i play it how
its written it matches the metronome but does not make sense musically
perhaps because im playing it at a slower tempo, please help me.
