Title: Sight reading
Post by: chopincrazy23 on January 19, 2013, 06:21:39 PM
Okay so I'm an alright sight reader, but I want to improve so I can learn hard pieces faster. I also tend to automatically stop and make sure that I am playing the right notes. How do keep the flow going? And how do I improve my sight reading so I learn hard pieces faster?

This topic has been discussed a lot already on this forum. I suggest you do a search. Here, to help you, are some things I found through a Google search since the search function here doesn't seem to work very well in my browser:
site:pianostreet.com sight reading (https://www.google.com/search?q=site:pianostreet.com+sight+reading)
site:pianostreet.com not stopping sight reading (https://www.google.com/search?q=site:pianostreet.com+not+stopping+sight+reading)
site:pianostreet.com improving sight reading (https://www.google.com/search?q=site:pianostreet.com+improving+sight+reading)
