So hello for one more time my friends. Here is a duet i did with a friend of mine.Hope you will enjoy it..!!!!!! ;D
-
I reallly enjoyed listening to you both. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the title. I made a recording of this along with other Offenbach cello "miniatures" about 15 years ago but have never heard them from anyone since. Not great music, but beautiful, nonetheless. The other "Les Larmes" is another gem. Thanks for posting!

Thank you so much for listening and replying.Well to be honest me neither knew this piece but my friend had an exam with this piece,so she asked me to accompany her and i loved it from the first moment i heard/played it.Really glad you liked it.Do you have any video with you playing it?I only saw 1 or 2 videos of this and i would love to see more interpretations.Wish you the best..!!!!!

It's a cd. but if I can figure out how you transfer it here I will do so.
What else did she do for the exam? What else have you done with the cello? Any brahms...?
-
I think I actually figured out how to do it.
Well I guess not. Can anyone tell me how to change the format of a normal cd so I can upload it?
Like changing it to an mp3?
-
No unfortunately haven't done anything else with cello yet,but i will do for sure.Well i don't know what else she played.Maybe something from Tchaikovsky but i'm not sure.Any suggestions about other beautiful pieces for cello and piano?
-
I think I actually did it! I'm a wizard.
There is SOOO much for cello and piano. The Brahms sonatas are beautiful. Beethoven. Debussy. And there are so many miniatures. Do the saint-saens swan. If I had to choose over I would probably become a cellist. :)
-
OMG that was sooooooooooo beautiful.Loved the sound of the cello loved the tempo loved the quiet accompany of the piano.Congratulations that was really awesome.Remember she told me about the swan which i really liked when i heard it.Probably will be the next one..!!!!!! :D

what the.....?? This gave be instant chills and produced "Les Larmes de Koopakool". Sorry for my ignorance but I never heard of that Offenbach before. Very simplistic but so effective! Birba I don't get why you don't post stuff of yours
-
Thank you very very much if you are referring to my interpretation and i totally agree if you are referring to Birba's..!!!!!! :) Well no worries about your ignorance,i had exactly the same one few months ago :) Haven't heard any other piece from him,but this one is a pure masterpiece in my opinion..!!!!!
-
Yes your interpretation is really awesome! Congratz to both of you. And Birba's recording is breathtaking as well. By the way "Jacques" takes a "c" just like in "Jacqueline", french is just weird like that sometimes :)

Thank you very much.I'll correct it immediately..!!!!! ;D
