Ok. I am an adult learner. I started teaching myself when I was 20. Left piano at 22. Now I am 24, and I have just started taking piano lessons. Please let me know what you think, and suggestions for improvement!

Well, i thnk that's remarkable after such a short time at the piano. What impressed me most was your innate sense of phrasing. Very natural and musical. This was particularly evident in the second movement. It's so easy to make this "baby" sonata sound mechanical. Congratulations to both you and your teacher.
Now i have a question. How did you upload this clip? I usually go through youtube, but it's a drag and takes so long.

First of all thank you for those encouraging words. I guess my teacher and I must be doing something right!
As for the video, it IS a youtube clip. It is just embedded in this forum, by copying and pasting the youtube video link over here, highlighting it, and clicking on the youtube embed icon that shows up when you start a new topic. Hope that helps!

I think you play very well considering the short time you have been playing, so cheers to you! Like Birba says, your sense of phrasing is great. I do have a few reccomendations for you.
1) the alberti bass in the left hand could be a bit softer as it is only an accompiament
2) in some places the alberti bass could be a bit steadier. Try practicing with a metronome.
Other than that, I don't have much to say. Nice job :)

Thanks for the comment. Regarding the steadiness of the alberti bass, I tried using a metronome, but after a few measures, I struggle to keep time. Its like my mind becomes temporarily retarded or something, like doing an insanely difficult math problem, and I just zone out. So I just quit the metronome! I don't know how to use it.

try starting half speed with the metronome, once it is fine, go up one click(if you have an analog metrenome). Keep on going until you have reached a few clicks ABOVE your original tempo, so that when you play it at your original tempo it will be better since you can play it when its even faster. Play with the metronome with just your left hand and with both your hands together.
