Hi everyone. This is my first pianostreet post. Glad to be here.
My recital is in a couple weeks, and I would really appreciate suggestions for the order of my program. I have an idea, but I won't say it in order to not bias you before you respond. Here is my music in chornological order:
Scarlatti k 466 in f minor
Scarlatti k 531 in E major
Mozart k 488 in A major mov. I (my teacher will play the orchestral reduction)
Brahms Intermezzo in b flat minor op 117 no 2
Scriabin Prelude and Nocturne for the left hand op 9 (I don't have to necessarily play the prelude.)
Debussy Estampes mov. I "Pagodes"
Don't hold back your thoughts please.

Thank you! I love the idea of beginning with the Debussy, and I had not thought of that by myself. Its opening is so calm and sensual that it would be a great way to take control of the audience.
