Title: Schubert Impromptu Op. 90 No.3
Post by: musickid10 on July 09, 2013, 05:27:04 AM
I just started this piece and I really love it. I'm trying right now to, in a sense, understand the "musical story" that the piece is trying to tell, if that makes sense :) Like, what feelings should I try to evoke? What do you feel when you hear it? Any suggestions?

Sort of.  It's a really lovely piece.  It's also in an A B A form, rather extended.  It may help to get a feel for it if you play around with it a little, playing the melody with chords rather than the right hand eighth note figures.
