That's easy...
THEY'RE ALL F***ING HARD!!!
Does that answer your question???
-
Just go with your favorite, you'll play it better anyway.
-
I'd say that Rach 2 is hard mostly because of its 3rd movement. Rach 1 is probably harder if we are basing it only on first movements. Totentanz is AS hard, though longer, because it deals with very normal techniques like octaves and glissandos. But it is FAST.

they dont even compare to the fantasie impromptu

are you saying fantasie impromptu is harder than all of them?

No, he's taking the piss. He's suggesting that this thread doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. Which it doesn't...

They don't even compare to circus gallop

Twinkle-twinkle little star takes the cake.

Of coure they don't - but then why would they, given that Circus Galop is for player-piano and therefore not for human performance?
Anyway, in answer to the question posed in this tiresome recycling of a thread type here - yes. Or maybe no.
Best,
Alistair

Please don't ask questions that other people were liable to ask, or they'll yell at you for it.
Comments to this thread = irony.
