Hello,

I'm a beginner piano student and planning to buy a digital to my home for practicing. I have a basic home studio with monitors, audio interface and a good computer. So, for a realistic piano experience I can buy a full size master keyboard with hammer action and a good piano sample - I'm planning to buy Imperfect Sample's Fazioli Ebony Concert Grand Complete Edition and a Yamaha KX8- or a digital piano -I don't have any knowledge about them so I appreciate any recommendations -. I'm not after the most realistic piano sound but after a realistic piano feeling so which would do it better, any opinions?

The Kawai VPC1 is made for just your situation. Nice keyboard feel. Produces no sound ... it's meant to be attached to a computer running piano software.

I purchased a Casio CDP-120 about a year ago and the touch is very realistic compared to what has been available for around $400-500 in years past. And the sampling is very decent as well. I bought mine at a Guitar Center and was very pleased even amazed on trying it out.

I checked the forum before writing here but just couldn't find the right thread, so if I duplicated, sorry for that.

Kawai VPC1 looks really amazing but it's not available in my country - Turkey - unfortunately.

I'll try to find the Casio CDP-120 and try it in the store.

I'd be glad to hear other recommendations though.
