Title: A good singer/pianist to learn from?

Hello guys,
I'm new to this forum, and would be happy to receive help.

I'm a pianist/singer and write songs. In order to get better at accompanying myself with the piano, I would like to listen to good artists who already do it, preferable jazz oriented. But if I listen to Ray Charles or Ella Fitzgerald, there are alwyas bass players in their bands, and I would like to listen to someone who only sings and plays the piano.
I would prefer someone who plays in a more sophisticated way than Elton John, for example.
Do you have some artists to reccomend?

In my sort of humble opinion, you can't go wrong with Joni Mitchell.
