I realize that these are very different choices, but both sound/feel great. I like the thought of having a Steinway and it is antique-ish and charming looking. However, it is OLD and not in perfect condition. However, it is rather good and does not need any immediate work. Frame is gorgeous...strings, hammers, etc. good. Pinblock decent. It is 18K. The Yamaha is 13K.
Thanks!

Do you prefer Thursday or roast beef? By that I mean you are really looking at two very different beasts. But as is my usual bent for answering these questions, which one do you really prefer playing? That's the only real answer.
Old, as I keep mentioning also, isn't necessarily good or bad -- but my 1898 Steinway A is still going strong, and is a delight to play.
