Title: Who made my piano?
Post by: remotercharm on May 01, 2014, 04:39:55 AM
Hi, I bought this lovely sounding studio piano and it says its made by "Schroeder & Son" but I've been unable to find any information on it. Does it look familiar to anyone or can anyone tell me a better way to find out?   The piano restoration person I bought it from couldnt find any info on it.  Thanks!

A (quite) brief article on the manufacturer can be found here (https://antiquepianoshop.com/online-museum/schroeder/).

I wasn't sure if that was them because mine says Schroeder and Son not Sons.  Thanks!

The same firm appears to have traded under several names - Schroeder Bros, Schroeder & Son, Schroeder & Sons and Schroeder & Co.
