Hi
I am looking for a work that's short ( or at least fast) that can be used to showoff( duh ) it can be hard or easy but I'm mainly doing it to occupy my time when I'm bored of practicing what im learning. I was considering Scriabin op42 no5 but that's abit too hard for a throw away piece. I've already learnt rach prelude op23 no 2. Please no.chopin etudes. Thanks

"A Maiden's Prayer" by Tekla Badarszewska (sp?) Easy and entertaining. I think it was originally written as a training piece, like a etude - a lot of show-off with trills and arpeggios all over the keyboard, looks very impressing. :P

When I want to show off with something that sounds nice and is cool and jumpy I go for the Preambule in Carnaval op.9 by Robert Schumann. Not very hard at all.

Do the classic show off piece!
It's really not that hard either. Hard to memorize but not hard to play.
