I'm new around here! I was wondering if anybody know about two piano's competition in the next year - 2015!

My goodness, if you're too lazy to do a google search, you'll have pretty hard time with the duo repertoire!

Which duets?

Speaking of the deep end of things, the first two-piano work I ever played was Beethoven's 9th Symphony arranged by Liszt!

I absolutely love the second movement of the Beethoven/Liszt!

It's killer... definitely the most successful movement in terms of the effectiveness of the transcription. Insanely hard to play, though.

You should do more duets! They are all very tricky, and having good ensemble is a real art!

Did you play primo or secondo?

Piano 1 and Piano 2 are usually much more similar to each other than the primo and secondo parts in a duet.

There is some extremely advanced literature that can be played by a skilled duet team... all kinds of symphonies and other orchestral pieces!

I hope you get the chance to further explore this wonderful type of playing. These days, I enjoy duet and duo playing much more than solo playing!
