It looks like it is to me, despite the opening claim that "no camera tricks were used." If so... tsk tsk
-
What does it even matter ? Whether sped up or not this is ridiculous. This guy has some capabilities, as his other videos show, but this one just shows a total disrespect for the music.
-
I'd say no, not fake/sped up. Looks real. I've heard people have played it in a minute before... That's why.
Technically, he played it in 57 seconds then, not a minute. Haha.
His head motions look normal enough. Looks like something he did for fun. Just record and through it up online.

Not sped up.
It isn't supposed to be played in a minute.
Minute (adjective) waltz

Looks perfectly legit, and having amused myself with this stunt a few years back, I must congratulate him on not "cheating" by playing the B section faster than the A sections. ;D Now play the final scale in thirds a la Friedman ;) (what he does is either AMAZING or genuinely sped up, it's a piano roll..)
-
The next question... How short of a time could someone play it?
-
Hm, I guess my suspicions were off then. That guy is a speed demon!
I think you can verify by checking the pitch in the video. It seems to be correct/not pitched higher from being sped up.
I don't know how much faster you could play it than that

I remember something about youtube altering pitch a bit on videos. 25 cents flat or something like that. But that was youtube, not the video uploader.
