Hello everyone
I'm going to take the above exam next May so which pieces would you recommend I choose. I will be reviewing these with my teacher next week so wanted to have an idea of my pieces.
Any advice much appreciated

I have listened to all the pieces but was concerned that the ones I like might technically be the most difficult. Not that I'm looking for the easy option but perhaps I should have re phrased the question and asked which ones are the most difficult to learn.

Thanks ADdod that's my problem I've listened to all the pieces and none of them stand out as in 'that's a piece I'd like to learn. I dont want to fall into the trap of learning a piece I don't enjoy playing.
Though no 16 Valerie Capers - Sweet Mr Jelly Roll would be a nice departure from classical music for me.
I'm aiming for a June 2016 exam I'm grade 4 at the moment.

I'm doing grade 5 in November. My pieces are the Mozart Viennese sonatina on the A list, the Glier on the B list and the Tansman on the C list. I like all of these, esp the Mozart.

I've settled on the Dussek on the A list, the Hoffman on the B list and Valerie Capers from the C list

These are far from grade 5, but these are among my favorite works, and you'll probably like them as you venture into Grade 7 and 8. Sorry I didn't really answer your question much.
