I always have this problem, whenever I want to play a song, i always feel sleepy, worse the competition is starting next month and I'm not improving a bit!
help!! :'(
-
that happens to me sometimes if i sleep only 6 hours at night or less
if that happens to you just go to sleep for 2-3 hours and you will wake up and play much better

Yes! I've had this. I've posted about it a little somewhere on here. (Do a search for "zoned out" and "I'm so tired" and maybe that will locate those threads.)
It's like the constant sound just lulls you off to dreamland. It's so difficult to focus in sometimes.
I think the solution may be to have a very definite, very clear goal in mind. Exactly what are you trying to accomplish? How are you going to do that? Maybe that will help. And have the plan written out for yourself and work step by step and check off what you've done and what you're working on. That's what I'd try next.

how physically active are you, generally? if you haven't been doing much exercise in the recent past, perhaps it would be worth doing some fairly vigorous exercise late one afternoon, and go to bed a little earlier than usual. see how you feel the morning after that

thx, i'll try that~~
to Jeff: well, i exercise regularly, almost everyday (cuz now i'm having my christmas holiday)
oh yah, i hv another prob. ..
it is whenever i play one song, i don't know whether i'm good at that or not
you know like, sometimes my teacher says, ok, is this sound good, i said yes, but when i try to do like her (tryin' to find the right sound) i've got no idea if it's nice or not~~
i dont' know what's happening to me ** it seems like this year, i'm having most of the probs~~
