Title: Liszt Grand Etude 8 Opening (S.137)

Is the opening of this piece even possible on a modern piano? It seems so ridiculously convoluted.

Just a guess here but Liszt would probably marvel at a quality modern piano of this day compared to what he Had to play on..

Leslie Howard says it's impossible on a modern piano but Idil Biret managed it just fine.
