Title: Franz Liszt - Liebestraum

I've been chipping away at this piece since I picked up Piano 2 years ago - I'm about halfway through now. I know my performance is full of flaws, but this piece makes me so happy to play. I'm finally learning my favorite section.

I can tell by the way you play the first page this liebestraum makes you happy.  It really comes through.  Maybe a bit too much rubato, but who cares!
Isn't this what music is all about?

Thank you for your reply. I'm looking for a new piece to start working on, one that is a little easier than liebestraum. Can you make a recommendation?

Reminds me of Schubert OP 90 no 3.

You may like that piece and I would say easier than Liebestraum.

Ah that sounds lovely addod, I can't wait to get started on it. It seems like a much tamer piece - a great opportunity to try and get my rythym and rubato under control.

for playing the piano two years this is pretty good! You definitely are  musical... Are you planning to see a teacher?

Yes, I plan on getting lessons after I graduate next fall. I'm hoping that I haven't developed any bad habits on my own.
