Title: Summer prelude (original composition) pencilart3
Post by: pencilart3 on July 11, 2016, 06:17:33 PM
Sorry my playing is bad in this one but my trilling is terrible. Oh well. Here is the autumn prelude that I wrote last fall...

And here is the summer one now! Enjoy :)

I enjoyed these two. I think you might well consider doing more improvisation and composition and less playing classical. The trills don't matter; rough technique gives rise to many more ideas than does smoothness, which is an overrated playing tradition. Neither does it matter at your age if you sound like somebody else, I didn't find my own voice until I was fifty-five. Aside from this, if you develop the creative aspects, they will reward you immensely much later in life.

Nice... I think they match the seasons theyre fit to really well.

My friend whos autistic and is obsessed with calssical music says both sound very lisztian.

Good work, Noah. However, I think your last Prelude is miles better.

Best,

AJ
