IMSLP mentions it but no sheet music, having a hard time finding any other references to it..let alone the sheet music.
Questions:
1. Is it his
2. Is it complete
3. Where can I get the music

Hi Mjames. I don't know much about Chopin. Here are a couple questions I have for you:
1. Can you provide a link to where IMSLP mentions this work?
2. How did you come by this youtube recording? It is not labeled to indicate what it is. It appears to be in d minor. I could see someone composing a small excerpt in the style of Chopin.
Thanks.

posthumous works without opus numbers, no. 9 "Mazur in G"
The only other I work I know of with "Mazur" in the title is the one I'm working on, rondo a la mazur. Never heard of this of one before, but yeah it might not even be Chopin's. :D

This is weird. Maybe a Chopin expert can explain. Here is link to Wikipedia list of Mazurkas:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazurkas_(Chopin)
Toward the bottom you will see a d minor Mazurka listed. It has some kind of KK number. I see no other listed in d minor.
Here is a link to a Mazurka played in youtube and listed as mazurka in d minor:
It sounds kind of familiar to me. Is it mislabeled? YES. IT IS IN G MINOR.
The problem with small excerpts is they can easily be by someone writing in the style of and getting close to the sound (a fake). This excerpt maybe sounds a little "off" to me. A larger excerpt would reveal a lot more.
Sorry I can't help more. See what others say.
EDIT: the complete d minor Mazurka in youtube link above was mislabeled. It is the g minor mazurka.
The "Mazur" excerpt you show is in d minor.

That's op. 67 no. 2 in g minor. Lol, nevermind you edited.
I know what key the excerpt is in, what I was saying that the only place with a reference to a solo piece titled "Mazur" by Chopin (asides from Op. 5) is in IMSLP, and it's in g. For all I know they could be two completely different pieces... XD oh well

Thanks! I just figured that out myself and edited my post. :)

I agree. The person who posted the excerpt knows (I am guessing). I wonder why he/she did not give more info? Can we even trust it is called "Mazur"? It is a mystery!!!!
Sorry I couldn't help more. :)
