I have 3 years to prepare...
Petrushka
Beethoven sonata #26
Chopin Opus 10 (complete)
Chopin Ballade #3
Franck prelude choral and fugue
Amy Beach Valse-Caprice
Copland - Piano Variations
Rhapsody in Blue
Something by kapustin
Too much jazz? Too much American music? Any other suggestions? Still need to round out this program

good luck! I tried out for that one, didn't pass the prescreen altho I did pass precreen for Liszt, Van Cliburn and others.

Wow that’s interesting. I guess some of these applications are a crap shoot. I’ll be applying to a few others as well for that reason.

I like it! Instead of rhapsody in blue i would definitely go for a Bach work. You have programmed a lot of 19th-20th century music so a Bach piece in there would be good. Maybe a partita? The rest of it looks very good, even though I can't stand the Tchaik concerto  ;D
