Title: Chopin Ballade No. 1 Op. 23
Post by: glinka0315 on May 29, 2019, 04:05:38 PM
Hi, I am sharing  my son’s (a 7th grader) recent performance of this piece in a student recital. He has learned it for around 6 months. How was his overall performance, except for accidentally hitting wrong note a couple of times? Thanks a lot!

this is fine playing and an enjoyable performance. what's exciting is that much of his development still lies ahead of him, he's already so far beyond so many even further than him in years, thanks for posting, continue to share with us as his journey progresses, it's exciting and filled w great music, i love the Medtner videos on the channel as well.

Great playing, thank you for sharing! Some general advice would be to do some more slow practice and be more careful with the pedal. But as visitor said you have still got a long path ahead of you. Keep it up!
