The passage is difficult and inviting to rubato, the idea is that it's impressive to play it in precise rhythm. Alternatively, is there a better way to phrase it entirely?
Possibly 'con misurato-bravura' is best? Should misurato be feminized to misurata?

If misurata modifies bravura, then, yes, it should take the feminine form, to agree with bravura. If you are aiming for a measured boldness.
You could try "con bravura e misurato" ie boldly and measured.
or "con bravura ma misurato" boldly, but measured.

To me as a performer "con bravura e misurato" gets the point you explained across most clearly. But I do not speak italian so I do not know if it's the most "correct" way to phrase it.

Ok, thanks homies! Randomly happen to be friends with a few Italian composers, I got a variety of suggestions including "bravura ma tempo rigoroso" but I like the "con bravura e misurato" fine tbh.
