Title: How to play better without pressing wrong notes?
Post by: leigh anne on July 01, 2022, 11:21:09 AM
Hello! I already know a lot of pieces and I can play many but the problem is, if I don't play it for only a few days I forget it and I have to dig up that piece and start over. How can I improve my memory? Plus no matter how many times I play songs I keep getting errors. It is either I press the note beside the supposed to be played one, or I press both and that sounds terrible. Please comment if you can share things. Thanks!

Practice it slowly and really know the notes and the positions. It's normal if you haven't practiced the piece in a while and your muscle memory gets wacky. I can only give the boring "Practice slowly" advice.  :(
