Title: Something to pass the time...
Post by: rachoff on February 16, 2005, 04:08:32 AM
I am looking for a piece that I can learn relatively quickly that I can use to pass the remaining holiday time with... I've been playing the tempest sonata and prelude in c sharp minor a bit but neither exactly fit the mold of an apathetical holiday piece. I'd prefer something maybe similar to some of satie except a bit more challenging.

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions???

Thanks

a few scriabin preludes would do just fine! ;)

Some Shostakovich preludes and fugues. For example the N°1 in C  ;)

Respighi’s “Notturno”.
