Hi, I'm a software developer and am curious to hear from teachers about the biggest issues they are facing in their jobs and studio these days.

These can include...
frustrations scheduling students and billing them/wasted time doing so

getting students who care about their lessons and practice

getting students at all...

finding apps or programs to help with theory, ear training, etc.

or something else? What is yours? Thanks

I think the question is too broad to elicit a proper response. And since some of your questions do already have a response from other software developers with apps available we need more focused questions in to areas not explored. Music is complex without technology. Technology is better integrated with -facilitation- as focus. As to where? 

I think in the past month or two, i remember the members here asking about a way to organize their repertoire.  We practice so many songs and it gets to the point we have to cycle through them as a reminder. This list can get large and we tend to forget and sometimes if there is a way to surprise us to get back on track on that song we forgot.. that can be an area worth exploring. Bc the list can be long for some, randomization might be useful and the ability to add weight on particular categories to make one list more important in frequency than others.. that’s a start.
