Title: Liszt 9th Symphony transcription
Post by: ravelfan07 on April 16, 2024, 12:22:22 PM
What exactly makes it soooo difficult)
It’s very commonly ranked Liszt’s hardest piece
Looks extremely hard, but not the “hardest piece by Liszt”
Lucretia Borgia, Don Juan and Berlioz looks harder
What makes it so difficult?

Lucretia Borgia, Don Juan and Berlioz looks harder
None of these are that hard, compared to some of Liszt's other stuff. Galop in A Minor is harder than Don Juan imo (I know this a very unpopular opinion), and Spanish Fantasy (S. 253) is probably harder than all 3 of those.
