Title: Improvisation (video 85") - Contemporary style
Post by: pianistavt on December 27, 2024, 01:31:46 AM
Not sure how to describe the method of this improvisation.  I believe it was inspired by a contemporary piece I heard, something along the lines of Rzeweski's "The People United...", but that wasn't it.

Hope you enjoy!  Feedback welcome.

I thought that was great!

You could totally notate this, polish it a bit, and make it into a prelude or something like that.

Agreed.  Short and vivid.

I can't listen to the improvs on here that go on and on with the same motif / concept, that's partly my short attention span, admit.

You're welcome. I don't mind coming back for repeat listens. You work with thematic material in innovative ways. It's not mere arpeggiated meandering. This one could have been developed more.
