kool!!
theyre really gud 4 mi sightreading bcos suzuki isnt that much help, cos im always listening to wat i play so i already kno the tune. it was a bit of a challenge at first, just staring at a jumble of notes, and alot of the pieces are quite modern, so i was always thinking: does it sound right? can i read this music!! after i learn a piece i listen to it afterwards on the cd and compare.

Yes! The books are a MUST! They are so cool! I'm working right now on "L'Orage (The Storm)". These books are definately fun and enjoyable, plus "flashy".

I did that book a couple years ago. I did some of the same songs as you Lea. It's a great book, because its not arranged in difficulty and has got some really interesting peices. This book has pieces in it that sound more difficult than the really are. They are good in recitals and whatnot.

now im doing the etude by kablensky
its really fun, but has a long developed middle part!!
