Post by: BoliverAllmon on April 01, 2005, 07:00:15 PM
I was reading a thread a couple of days ago and it mentioned this book that use to be for tennis players, but now for musicians. I can't remember the name and I can't remember the thread. Can someone please help lead me in the right direction.

Inner Game of Tennis

Inner Game of Music

Inner Game of Work

by Barry Green   I think

Same psychological side of doing things, like the Werner Effortless Mastery book.  Don't focus on the goal --- Focus on letting things happen naturally.

Actually the author is Timothy Gallwey - The Inner Game of Tennis. I'm a big fan  ;D.

The Inner Game of Music was written later and Gallwey collaborated with Barry Green in the writing. I admit that I have not read this one but I have been told by several pianists who have read both, that the music version does not present the ideas as well as the original (Inner Game of Tennis).
