Hi I own a Kawai GS-30 high gloss grand. There are four or five 1/8" gouges on the fallboard :'(.
What's best repairing the fallboard or replacing the fallboard?
If replacement is the better option, then where can I can the best price...via Kawai Inc., or a piano supply store.
I live in the Los Angeles, CA.
Thank you

You'll need to have a capable piano tech look at the damage. There are some wizards at repairing polyester. There are some who are definitely not wizards.
I'd call a piano dealer in your area and ask to speak to whoever touches up their showroom pianos. Finishes get damaged all the time in shipping, and every big dealer will have someone on staff who can touch these up. Once the touch-up guy has seen the damage, he'll be able to tell you if it can be repaired or not.

An auto body repair person can help too.
