Anyone know when I can get the score, I dont have 15 bucks to go buy the shirmer at Dave Shneider's Music ltd.
Or does anyone recommend any other etudes (excluding chop25. #6, feux follets, or rach preludeop.23no.9) by any composer dealing with double notes in any sort of challenging way?
thanks

Schumann's Toccata is one of the best double-note pieces of all time; I may recommend that one to you.
I have the Moszkowski, but only in the Schirmer book and I don't have a scanner. I've been meaning to play it myself but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll probably go for the Schumann over the summer instead.

I think prokofiev's etude op.2 no.1 could be a fairly challenging double note etude. For the score :

For a record :

I don't know your abilities right now, but I think it should be in your abilities right now! ;)

That song looks brutallll..... the starting looks really weird, and sounds funky too...

I have it and will email a copy to you. Unfortunately I haven't dared to learn it yet. Can comfortably manage no. 4, and currently working on no. 6 (though it's nowhere near "presto" yet !!)

Better to PM me with your email address. It will be quicker for me to receive because I'm not online very often due to work, studies, computer accessibility etc.

There are four etudes in this opus. I don't know if he composed other ones. Of course it's not me playing lol, it's a girl pianist featured at www.whitekeys.com (https://www.whitekeys.com). Daria Rabotkina, something like that. Go look at her site, she's good!
