Title: Tempi for Mozart's Sonata for Two Pianos, K448? Also, scales per Bernhard?
Post by: celticqt on May 13, 2005, 06:31:24 PM
Where can I find some suggested tempi for this sonata?  I played it at my lesson last night and it seemed (almost) impossibly fast.  I'd like to make sure I'm practicing it up to speed.

Also: In reading about Bernhard's practice method, I noticed that he mentioned to practice the scales that match your pieces.  Should I play them (say) 4-5 times each? Right now mm=125 is comfortable for me; should I push the metronome higher each day?

Thanks guys!  :)

125 is ok if you want to stay at your current level. If you want to become better and better, increase the metronome tempo.
