Title: Which is the BEST BOOK To START ???

Hello,

I'm Sergio from PERU, well, i love the music, not just piano.

I started to learn a long time ago but one month there, other there, i took thompson or the pianist virtuoso, some pages only, so i got a bit depress cause all that music was ugly, well for me at the begging, so i started by myself with the moonlight first movement and finished it after 2 months (i'm studying at college too), I know I have problems with the reading and technique.

So, is there a good book?, one good book from the beginning to the end to get real progress??

Always the same with my teachers, one page from that, other from here, other from there, too many books for me i guess.

Primero, bienvenido al Piano Forum.  Hay aqui cualquier cantidad de informacion sobre todo que tiene algo que ver con el piano.  He aqui un link para empezar.  En este link, m1469 ha juntado mucha informacion.

Muchas gracias Jef, que bueno encontrar gente que hable español por aca, este parece un sitio con gente especializada, gracias por el dato, mi primera inquietud ahora es como hago para leer y para tener fuerza en los dedos y tocar el piano como si las teclas fuesen de aire.

Hi Sergio,

I don't know if I am repeating information that was just posted (I don't speak Spanish), but try to find one of the beginners books (Alfred et al)  that Chang recommends in his own book.

I agree, read Chang's book from beginning to end to start on the right track.

Sí y no, hay muchas personas acá que tienen mucha experiencia y hay muchas que tienen muy poca.  Es divertido leer y adivinar entre los dos typos ;D

Como verás, si lees mucho acá, hay opiñiones diferentes sobre todo eso.  Ya adivinaste que Bernhard tiene mucho para decir.  Yo, por mi parte, estoy de acuerdo con lo que dice él (normalmente).  Hay otras personas que no están de acuerdo (bueno, eso es normal en todo el mundo).

Bueno, depues de eso, yo voy a cambiar al inglés en el futuro.  Solamente para que entendan los demás. ;)
