Title: What do you think of this interpretation of Chopins waltz in E flat?

I think he overuses rubato. What do you think?

i enjoyed it. professional work. but a less-rubato-interpretation works very well too. the touch (could have been softer at times), velocity, lightness, contrasts etc. were good.

I liked the rubato, very elegant to my taste, and so the whole performance indeed. Since it's a dance piece I think that even more rubato is not a problem.

 I enjoyed it, and the rubato gave it a very good sonority. I didn't think he overused the rubato, it was appropriate for this piece. It is also very clear.  ;D

If everyone hear is happy with the speed, then I am happy. That is about where I have the speed myself. Though some sections still have to get up to that speed.

I think because the performer chooses to contrast rubato sections with parts that are much more strict in tempo and rhythm, (s)he justifies his/her free application of rubato in other sections.

It's a very good performance. There's not much to criticize.
